Accommodation
I put quite a bit of effort into researching all the prospective universities and suitable courses, and found that no other university could offer not only outstanding teaching quality and research achievements but also such thoroughly modern and comfortable surroundings
as Warwick.
Warwick has a wide range of purpose-built residential accommodation on campus, and the really helpful Accommodation Office can help you decide where you'd like to live.
You will usually spend one year, at least, living off-campus but most first year students are accommodated on-site. All campus residences are within 15 minutes' walk of the centre of campus, with most less than five minutes from the heart of the University.
On campus, there are study bedrooms, en-suite study bedrooms, nine or 12 bedroom houses, and flats with five, six, eight, or nine bedrooms. Each of the campus residences is fully managed and has residential tutors and a warden who look after the safety and welfare of the residents. All rooms have broadband-speed Internet access. Dedicated housing for families and students with disabilities is also available.
If you prefer to live off campus, the Accommodation Office can also help you find rooms in shared houses and flats. These properties are located in nearby Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, and Kenilworth. The Independent described private rents in the area as 'a snip', good to know when you're budgeting. Most second year students live off-campus; some choose to spend their third year back on campus while others prefer to be elsewhere.
