I appreciate that we are taught by the best; within the first eight months we already have very strong foundations. Every single Finance lecture has been scary, thrilling, interesting, and absolutely spellbinding.
WBS encourages you to do a lot of work on your own and take responsibility for your education. There are also great chances through seminars and talks by professors and well-established firms to grab opportunities to get an internship or summer job, and broaden your horizons.
I believe that the opportunities WBS offers through contact with employers, the thorough knowledge we get of our subject, and the widely recognised degree, will have an important influence on my future career, enabling me to get a job at a top firm. I will leave WBS being able to work on my own, spot and take opportunities, and meet deadlines. Most importantly I will have a well recognised degree which will open many doors for a successful career.
