Admissions

Warwick is able to keep going in the fast lane, innovating more than most other universities and carving out a reputation for itself as a creative university that gives a high priority to students' needs as well as doing well in research.

All applicants, whether UK residents or from overseas, must go through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). Forms are available through your school or college, or direct from UCAS. If you are an overseas applicant you may want to contact the University of Warwick's International Office for guidance and to see if we have a representative in your country.

Competition for places is keen, so we recommend you apply early. We do not normally interview candidates so it is important to ensure your UCAS form contains relevant information about your academic and extra-curricular achievements to show us why you are interested in joining us at WBS. Think laterally.

Specific academic entry requirements are detailed in each course's Eligibility section. Offers from us will normally exclude General Studies at 'A' or 'AS' level. Mother tongue 'A' levels such as Modern Greek, Chinese, or French are acceptable but may result in a slightly higher offer when these have been taken early or as one of three 'A' levels. We generally favour 'traditional' academic subjects such as Mathematics, Economics, English, and the Sciences. We prefer your numerate and science subjects to be pursued to A2 or higher level.

Offers may vary from year to year. We cannot accept students directly onto the second or final years of study. You must complete the first year at WBS. Further details of the University of Warwick's admissions policy are available are available from the University's Admissions Ofiice.
