Career support

The University's Careers Centre has been great. I received feedback on draft applications and took part in mock interviews. When I've attended interviews for graduate schemes I have been very confident that I would do well. The successful track record of WBS alumni, and the attention that WBS graduates receive from companies across all sectors, is the ultimate proof of the reputation of the WBS brand. Studying here has definitely positioned me for a successful career.

To give you the very best start to your career, the University's Careers Centre provides information and advice, workshops, recruitment events, applications support, employer liaison, vacancy searches, and individual consultations. It also runs a series of careers focus programmes bringing together a number of events around a single occupational theme. Previous events have included finance, marketing, media, and consulting and have brought together employers, professional bodies, and our alumni in the relevant sectors to help improve students' understanding of career opportunities in those areas. Sessions include employer presentations, skills workshops, networking events, mock interviews, and career information sessions. The events are focused more on information gathering than recruitment, although some employers do use them to recruit.

With an excellent degree, networking and work experience opportunities, careers events, over 100 employer visits each year, and specialist advice, it's no surprise that Warwick graduates find employment easily. Graduate employment statistics for graduates from each of our main undergraduate degrees can be found under the degree section.
