International emphasis
Our students' excellent achievements reflect not only their engagement with global issues but also their international diversity.
Almost two-thirds of our undergraduate students come from outside the UK, representing more than 50 different countries.
We place great emphasis on the international nature of both our teaching and our research. You will be part of an international community of undergraduate students from around fifty countries both within and outside the European Union.
This international mix brings different perspectives on learning and business culture to share with each other. Drawing on examples of business and commerce in these different countries broadens and enlivens debates.
All of our courses have an international perspective. As a manager in the future you must be skilled in working and communicating in a pan-continental environment. In your first year on any course, foundation modules will introduce concepts and skills taken from a wide range of cross-cultural examples. Further years involve studying our Global Environment of Business module, as well as other internationally-oriented modules in your chosen topics.
WBS also welcomes visiting and exchange students from Europe, North America, Japan, and other countries. You can stay for a single term of three months, two terms, or a full academic year, to study from a range of modules taught on our undergraduate programme.
Further information for potential visiting students is available from the University's International Office.
