International Business prepares you well for more senior roles

WBS provided me with a strong foundation of core management skills which I continue to benefit from in my current role. One of the major advantages of this particular course was the broad range of topics and modules to choose from. Over the years, I've definitely leveraged my corporate strategy and financial analysis knowledge directly and this, alongside my organisational behaviour understanding and appreciation of team dynamics, has prepared me well for a senior career.

Many people expect the skills and experience they get out of their time at university to benefit them most as they embark on their career as newly qualified graduates. But, ten years on, I've come to realise that I use the skills and experience I developed at WBS more now that I'm in a senior management role than ever before.

Most degree courses prepare you for the first few years of your career but I certainly think that what differentiates International Business is that it is an academic track which prepares you well for more senior roles.
