I am astounded at the sheer breadth and depth of coverage achieved by this course
Looking back, I am astounded at the sheer breadth and depth of coverage achieved by this course in such a relatively short space of time.
It's been challenging at times but overall extremely informative and enjoyable.
My knowledge base has expanded greatly and as a result I am convinced that WBS deserves its reputation for excellence in teaching and for career prospects.
This course is unique in its incorporation of an obligatory one year 'sandwich' year studying abroad.
WBS also gives you all the guidance needed to aid your job search for a work placement overseas.
My experience of simultaneously being both a full-time student at Carlos III University, Madrid, and a becaria (intern) at a market research company gave me the best of both worlds.
The combination of studying, working, and socialising was at times exhausting, but I have no regrets about merging professional and academic life.
I was keen to expand my language ability, and the year abroad certainly helped in that respect.
But my non-academic growth has been life changing.
My improved appreciation and understanding of the 'outside world' has made me feel like a true global citizen.
I honestly feel like a different person; much more confident, less culturally ignorant, and in possession of a greater international sensibility.
There's a real sense of community stemming from the strong support infrastructure at WBS, ranging from the teaching faculty to the fellow students.
I have made incredible friends on my course and sharing a year abroad with some of them has made my time at WBS all-the-more special.
