I liked WBS so much I did my Masters at WBS too

WBS was rated in the top five for management, plus I wanted to study at a University with a decent sized campus. We had a visit at my school in Dubai from Warwick's International Office, and they were very helpful and provided me with lots of useful information.

WBS allows you to get straight into the course of your choice. You don't have to waste time doing courses you're not interested in unlike the USA. I quickly gained a rich understanding of a variety of business related modules, the ability to think critically and reflect on what is being taught in the lectures, and a more realistic perspective on the global economy.

The course is flexible in allowing you to design your own study programme and mix and match a variety of different business modules adding a lot of colour and flavour to it. It kept me very interested, enthusiastic, and motivated because I was doing modules that I chose for myself.

It really is more of a tailor made course and this is what I loved about it the most. I always wanted to get into the business field but I never knew what particular section I wanted to specialise in. I absolutely loved the International Environment of Business module. WBS has a wide variety of lecturers from all over the globe and that really gave me a broad and deep understanding of the interdependence among countries in the business world today.

The case studies we did relating to real organisations exposed us in a practical way to the global economy. The numerous presentations we were required to do definitely help with interviews for internships and jobs. The entire course was structured in a way to make it as realistic as possible. For example, one assignment involved determining whether a new product should be launched by Proctor & Gamble, another involved interviewing and examining the operations of a store such as Argos. It really provided me with a lot of useful insight.

In terms of the social life, WBS is brilliant because I have friends from different parts of the world, the multicultural environment really appeals to me. Now it literally is like having a friend in almost every continent!

I decided to undertake the MSc in Marketing & Strategy because I wanted to gain deeper insights into the field of strategy as a whole. I saw it as a way of extending my passion for the subject and building on my undergraduate studies. I'd already been taught by some of the masters team and found the pool of specialised knowledge plus the quality of teaching and research hugely inspiring.

I see my time at WBS as benefiting my future employers who will appreciate my enhanced and developed critical and analytical skills. I want a career in strategy consulting and believe this course will give me a head start. Studying with WBS has been a very fulfilling experience. It has expanded my knowledge base, not just in terms of academia but in terms of my personal development in its widest sense. I have learnt news skills, and gained new passions and hobbies from the many varied opportunities on offer at the lively campus. I have truly enjoyed a well-rounded experience at WBS.
