It feels great to have some of the UK's best academics teach you at WBS!
I decided to choose WBS when I saw, in The Times Good University Guide, that it was ranked 2nd in business studies, just after Oxford.
I noted that it had an outstanding reputation for excellence in teaching and research and chose the BSc in Management to improve my business acumen and make sure my career gets a boost on graduation.
I have attended several employer presentations and workshops already.
Employers that have visited just in my first year include: Microsoft, Procter & Gamble, PwC, Unilever, Barclays Capital, UBS, and Deutsche Bank.
I feel I now know their expectations which will help me develop the right skills for the future.
There is also a Project module each year in which you give a presentation to 'real' panels and submit a business plan as a group.
This has really helped me to develop team-working skills.
It's also a flexible degree: there are about 50 modules to choose from in the second and third years.
The academic part of the course is brilliant; it's fast paced and challenging.
