Warwick has active groups all over the world who run events in their country and provide networking opportunities. WBS is closely involved with many of these.
Groups are set up by alumni and students, for alumni and students, with support and guidance from us. Membership is open to all Warwick alumni and students and there is no restriction on the number of groups you can join. Each group works in a slightly different way, depending on the interests of participants, coordinators, and their location. Some groups also run social media sites, so you can connect with them when you’re not in the country.
Typical group activities include lectures, seminars, conferences, business networking, online networking, sports events, formal dinners... and of course, having fun!
If there is no group for your area, you might want to consider becoming a Warwick Ambassador and setting up a new group.
The University has an extensive network of alumni groups around the world – take a look and see if there is one near you.
The Midlands group aims to increase engagement with the local Warwick alumni community, currently numbering just over 14,000 graduates, and with all Warwick students.
We have established an annual social and business networking programme encompassing around 10 events per year including specialist lectures featuring senior industry speakers.
The London alumni group organises monthly business-oriented and social events to help Warwick students and graduates develop relationships. We particularly encourage graduate engagement so that they too may give something back that will benefit the wider Warwick graduate community in London.
