Biography

KG Ben Knight is a Professor of Practice in Warwick Business School . He is also an Associate Fellow in the Economics Department. He specialises in the teaching of global business and personnel economics on undergraduate, MBA and executive programmes. He is the author of many articles in professional journals in economics,the economics of business strategy and also employment relations, and has written the book Unemployment: An Economic Analysis. He has also contributed to books on UK economic policy and has co-authored chapters in McGee et al.?s book Strategy: Analysis and Practice a second edition of which appeared in 2011. He is the author of lesson notes on economics on the Warwick DL MBA programme. He has recently carried out research on the use of macroeconometric models in corporate strategy and is currently working on a study of economic ?cost vulnerability? and firm performance.
In addition to his academic work he also has extensive Economic and Strategy consultancy experience including British Steel ( later Corus and now Tata Steel) Arbed, Lafarge Cement , BP, BP Chemicals, Tullis Russell, Allied Bakeries, Vodafone, EoN, ACAS, Rover, Lord Chancellor?s Office and others.
