Academic record: Candidates must have an upper second class honours degree at undergraduate level from a UK university or the equivalent from an overseas university.
Applications are also welcomed from candidates who do not have the academic qualifications but are exceptional, with a proven ability to achieve.
Transcripts: You will need to provide transcripts of your degree. These should be translated into English and we need to see the original or a certified/attested hard copy. If you are unable to send the original/certified copies at the same time of submitting your application then scanned and emailed copies can be accepted temporarily. When sending originals or certified/attested copies we recommend using a tracking service.
English Language: All of our programmes are delivered in English so, if English is not your first language, you have not graduated from an English speaking university or worked in an English speaking environment for at least two years you must demonstrate a minimum overall standard in the following recognised tests of English. The certificate will be required as evidence.
References: We require one professional reference from your line manager. Your referee should be able to comment on your business acumen. We do not accept references from family members or friends.
Your file will be reviewed by the Selection Committee and once they have made a decision we will contact you. If you have been successful you will receive an offer letter and be required to complete the offer response form confirming your decision within 4 weeks.
Experience: Candidates must have at least four years’ work experience in a relevant healthcare environment.
Technical requirements: The MSc in Strategic Leadership & Innovation in Healthcare is delivered 100% online and incorporates online text, multimedia, discussion forums and live webinar sessions. You will therefore require a stable and relatively high speed internet connection, an up-to-date web browser, the ability to listen to sound (a headset or speakers), and a microphone for taking part in live online webinars and group work. You can access the content of the programme on many devices, include desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile.
If you intend to access the programme from a workplace you should ensure that you will not have access restricted by organisational firewalls or policies.
Note: Some countries block access to certain sites (for example, YouTube) and live streaming services (for example, Skype). This could impact in your ability to participate in the programme. Please contact us if you have concerns related to this.
