Interested in studying accounting and finance at university? Thinking of a career in accountancy or investment banking? Then I hope you will consider applying for a place on our BSc Accounting and Finance. It’s one of the best in its class.
I have been teaching at WBS for over 20 years and never cease to be amazed by what our students achieve whilst they are here and what they go on to do after they graduate. They are intellectually curious, they are prepared to work hard to achieve their goals, and they form friendships with one another that last a lifetime.
Our students expect a lot from us and we don’t disappoint. Our curriculum is intellectually challenging and designed to meet the needs of the accounting and finance professionals of the future, which is why it is accredited by each of the main professional accountancy bodies, the Association of Corporate Treasurers and the Chartered Financial Analysts’ Institute. Our students don’t just acquire new knowledge and skills whilst they are here, they are also encouraged from day one to reflect critically on what they are learning and to contribute to each other’s understanding. They are co-creators of knowledge.
At Warwick, learning extends well beyond the classroom, both physical and online. It continues in the diverse forms of social interaction amongst our students. Student societies and sports clubs play an important part in all of this, and Warwick has literally hundreds of those. It’s all part of the 360-degree education that you will enjoy if you come here. So are the summer internships that will likely come your way. There may even be the possibility of a year’s work placement.
