At Warwick Business School we have four Core Values – Curiosity, Openness, Restlessness and Excellence – that guide us in what we do. Part of our “Openness” value means that we embrace diversity and are an inclusive environment that people from all backgrounds can participate in. Universities are an incredible place – a safe space for challenging your assumptions, learning and debating with others who are equally dedicated to developing their knowledge and skills. Universities can also be a leveller – a place where, once you are in the doors, everyone is given the same opportunity to realise their potential. In the Foundation Year programme, we want to make sure that those doors are not closed to people who would have the potential to succeed but have not met our normal entry requirements due to barriers beyond their control.
If you are one of those people – smart, motivated to learn and keen to develop, but you have not quite hit the mark on our normal requirements, the BSc with Foundation Year might be for you!
If your application is successful, you will have the opportunity to study in a small group of students for a year – enriching your skills, growing your knowledge and taking part in developmental experiences that will help you succeed in the three years of the undergraduate programme that follow the foundation year. You will be supported by a fantastic team of lecturers, personal tutors, and administrators that are eager to help you succeed.
