Learning facilities

Warwick offers excellent, state of the art, facilities for undergraduates

Learning facilities
The University of Warwick library has recently been refurbished and remodelled.  It includes over 1 million printed works but you will also have access to around 35,000 e-journals, 13,400 e-books and a huge number of databases.  Each particular academic area has subject specialists and there are multi-media assisted study areas which are great for informal or group study.

Learning grids
There are two on-campus Learning Grids which are relaxed study environments especially for group work.  They are open 24/7 in case you have a sudden urge to study at 3.00 am or have an assignment to complete.  In fact the only day they close is Christmas Day!

E-learning & IT services
We encourage students to develop high levels of IT competence in their chosen subjects and there are lots of courses to help you do so.  You'll receive an email account and also access to web-based discussion forums and a blogging tool (Warwick Blogs).  At WBS we provide you with access to an intranet, my.wbs, through which you can access module handouts, you'll upload your assignments, will find out about careers opportunities and can contribute to online discussions.
