Doctoral students from Warwick Business School look forward to welcoming Doctoral students from the Business Schools of Oxford and Cambridge Universities to the Spring Doctoral Conference.
As in previous years the conference provides an opportunity for Doctoral students to meet, exchange ideas, present their papers and receive feedback in a stimulating and supportive environment.
There will be three awards for the best presentations and one award for the best paper. The awards will be presented by Professor David Wilson, Deputy Dean of WBS, at the end of the conference.
During the conference two panel session will be held: Publishing on Wednesday 16 April; Careers on Thursday 17 April.
Evening dinner event on 16 April with pre-dinner address given by Professor Howard Thomas, Dean WBS.
Overnight campus accommodation on 16 April for visiting conference students.

18 February: Abstract of 200 words to be submitted. 28 March (24.00 hours): Submissions in one of two forms either:
A copy of the full paper (4000 to 7000 words) or
An extended abstract of 500-1000 inclusive.
NOTE - In both cases the submission needs to be accompanied by a statement from the supervisor to say 'I have seen and commented on the paper/extended abstract and support its submission to the conference.'
For full papers, supervisors may recommend that it is considered for the 'best paper' prize, briefly stating their case.
Information regarding speakers and the conference agenda will be announced as further details are confirmed.
