How to publish in the US journals - Max Voronov workshop

Dr. Voronov received his Ph.D. from Columbia University (2006), where he also earned MPhil (2005) and MA (2003). His BA (Magna Cum Laude) is from Connecticut College (2000).

He conducts research on how culture (such as institutional arrangements, social norms, and history) influences organizations and people, as well as on how culture can be used strategically. He is especially interested in the roles that emotions and power play in these processes. Dr. Voronov's work appears or is forthcoming in such leading management journals as Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies, Human Relations, and Organization, among others.

Dr. Voronov is on the editorial boards of Academy of Management Review and Journal of Management Studies and also reviews for a variety of other leading scholarly journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Organization Science, Organization Studies, Organization, Human Relations, and Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice.

Dr. Voronov's awards and distinctions include Best Paper Award from the CMS Division of the Academy of Management (2010, with Russ Vince) and Best Paper of 2009 from International Small Business Journal (with Dirk De Clercq). His 2012 Academy of Management Review article (with Russ Vince) was a finalist for the OMT Division's Best Published Paper Award.
