Monique Rossi, Foods Innovation and Channel Transformation Director, Unilever

Monique has worked at Unilever for over 20 years and has spent her exciting career in the UK and abroad, starting in finance and moving to various functions including Marketing and Category development. She is fortunate enough to have managed some of the most amazing brands like Dove, Lynx, Vaseline and PG tips. 

In the last 4 years she has led the transformation of Unilever Snacking portfolio starting with the repositioning of the Pot Noodle brand with purpose at its heart, winning various awards to launching 2 new on trend snacking brands, Prepco and Red Red and pioneering new ways of working. She has recently joined the UK and Ireland extended leadership team as the Foods Innovation and Channel transformation director.

Monique’s leadership purpose is ‘To be the rock and make an impact’ which guides her throughout, together with her values of integrity, respect, curiosity and continuous learnings.

Monique is of Lebanese origin, married to Marco Italian/Scottish so a very international family and have 2 teenage children who keep her young! She is a foodie and loves a nice bottle of red wine.

In 2017, Dr Laura Chamberlain and Faye Neivens launched the Marketing Insight Series to bridge the gap between academia and industry at The University of Warwick. Designed to give attendees a varied insight into the marketing industry and careers they may not have considered beforehand.

Since starting the series we have welcomed marketing professionals from the Automotive, Finance, FMCG, Retail and Not-for-profit sectors. Join us this year for a chance to meet more marketing professionals, skills workshops and student competitions.
