Data Science for Social Good Closing Event- WBS London

About this Event

This year, for the first time in the UK, the Alan Turing Institute and the University of Warwick are hosting a prestigious University of Chicago flagship summer fellowship programme - Data Science for Social Good (DSSG). For three months, 20 DSSG summer fellows, the top talent from diverse academic background, are working closely with governments and non-profit organisations to apply their computational, analytical, and data science skills to real-world problems in transport, social care, public procurement, medicine and more. The fellowship programme is led by a team data science practitioners from industry and academia.

Register your interest in joining us for the closing event of DSSG 2019 to attend short talks about this summer’s projects by DSSG participants and mentors. It is an opportunity to network with people and organisations who share the common vision and values - using AI and data science to positively impact society.

Please note: There are limited tickets available for this event so please register your interest by 14th August at the latest.
