When and why should businesses be concerned with ethics? What is an ethical business practice? Are ethical businesses competitive? The presentation will debate the issues related to business ethics and business in society, emphasising the implications of contemporary business practices for economic growth, and promoting balanced and sustainable development. It will also consider business activity as an integral part of the wider socio-political context and will look into a range of economic, cultural and environmental impacts from a global perspective.
