Nudgeathon

Nudgeathon is a two-day event organised by the WBS Behavioural Science Group.

The main objective of Nudgeathon is to develop implementable solutions to a given consumer issue. Students will be working on a real consumer problem with the aim to influence choices people make to help them make better decisions. Since Nudgeathon is all about creativity and novelty, the teams will be made up of students of diverse backgrounds: behavioural science, psychology, economics, but also computer
science, engineering, cultural anthropology and design.

The problem brief will be provided by our partner Which?(www.which.co.uk) to ensure its topicality and current importance period. It will be something everyone can relate to.

During the Nudgeathon weekend, students will also attend talks by experts in the field of behavioural science, workshops on creativity, design thinking and much more. Not only that, the winning team will receive a £500 Grand Prize and the possibility of their solution to be implemented on the British market by our partner Which? (www.which.co.uk)

Applications open from 17th November 2014.

Lunch and Refreshments will be provided for the two days.
