Finance Friday: Mindfulness - The Fourth Space: New Insights into Leadership
The Warwick Finance Network is back with the last Finance Friday event before the Summer break on 10th July 2015.
WFN are privileged to have a leading researcher in this new and exciting field of Leadership practice to discuss the theory but also practically demonstrate ‘how’ to use Mindfulness in the workplace.
Mindful leadership increases "organizational innovation, efficiency and effectiveness, the three gold standards of organizational performance" (Ritchie-Dunham and Langer, 2014).
In a range of organisations (such as Apple, McKinsey, Google, Deutsche Bank) research has shown that mindfulness can improve task performance, decision making, safety culture; it can lead to higher sales and faster learning; lower burnout and stress. This subject is beginning to receive considerable attention and is being adopted by many of the world’s leading organisations. so here is your chance to gain valuable insights from a leading thinker & researcher in the field.
Jenny Robinson will lead a discussion and encourage us all to have a go. There will also be time for individuals to re-perceive old, ‘hard to solve’ work issues – so have something in mind before you come along that can be shared….just not too personal or confidential!
