It is with great pleasure that I write to invite you to join friends and supporters of the University of Warwick to attend a special lecture by Carolyn Fairbairn, Director General, Confederation of British Industry (CBI), on Friday 9 December, 11.00am at Warwick Business School. Carolyn will speak on the subject of British Businesses in a post-Brexit world, and we are delighted to partner with the CBI for this event.
Carolyn joined the CBI as Director General in November 2015 following a 30 year career in British business. She spent her early career at McKinsey before taking on a range of senior leadership roles in the media industry. She has also held non-executive plc board positions spanning the manufacturing, services and banking sectors.
This lecture will be followed by a short ceremony to unveil a plaque to formally open the extension to the Warwick Business School building and a networking reception. Refreshments will be provided.
