After achieving a degree in Business and Politics, Gemma decided to take an unexpected career turn and jumped into the Marketing world. Now with six years’ agency experience, Gemma has worked on and managed multiple award-winning and shortlisted marketing projects for clients such as Drayton Manor, Vision Express, and Marston's Brewery. Experienced in a multitude of industries across the B2C and B2B world, Gemma has led global marketing meetings for multinationals helping to provide the most effective strategy on an international scale.
Having recently turned down a position at a Global Marketing Agency in favor for a vibrant 10 person Agency, Gemma will talk frankly about what she has learned, some of the truths of working in an Agency, and how it compares with the Marketing world client side.
