KIN Webinar: Community Manager Appreciation Day

In 2010, Jeremiah Owyang, declared every fourth Monday in January as "Community Manager Appreciation Day." This day recognises and celebrates the efforts of community managers/facilitators around the world. This year’s official date is Monday 27 January 2020.

Since the establishment of the Knowledge and Innovation network in 2001 Communities of Practice has been an active special interest group sharing vast amounts of examples and experience of how Communities of Practice and Online Communities have been establishes and sustained within and out side of the different member organisations.

During this time KIN has set aside time to conduct a range of research into Communities of Practice / Online Communities looking at the different approaches, the factors for launching a community and ways to support the community in thriving over the longer term.

In this webinar, we will be looking back at the research, pulling out those key points on the different approaches, launching and making the community sustainable and asking questions to you if you have covered all the bases or are you missing some of the fundamentals to have a success community?
