What you'll study on your Master's in Business Analytics and AI

Our MSc Business Analytics & Artificial Intelligence course is a one-year, full-time programme designed to combine technical analytics skills with business understanding.

Over three terms, you’ll complete four core modules alongside four modules from one of four specialist areas: 

• Artificial Intelligence
• Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics
• Management Analytics
• Marketing Analytics & Technology.

You’ll develop your programming skills in Python, SQL and R, while learning how to analyse data, apply statistical and analytical techniques, and use AI to address business problems.

Tailor your final term

Complete your studies through the route that best fits your career goals:

• One elective + Research Paper
• Two electives + Self-sourced Internship
• Two electives + Business in Practice
• Two electives + Analytics Portfolio.

This flexibility allows you to develop your academic, practical or professional experience according to your interests and career goals. Assessment varies across the programme and can include group presentations, peer assessments, individual assignments and examinations.

MSc Business Analytics & Artificial Intelligence entry requirements

We’re looking for analytically minded graduates who want to develop their ability to use data, technology and AI to solve business problems.

You will need:

• A 2:1 undergraduate degree or equivalent from a UK university, or an overseas equivalent
• Strong numeracy and IT statistical ability, as this is a quantitatively focused programme
• No prior degree in Business Analytics or Computer Science is required. We actively welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including economics, business, engineering, psychology, geography, sociology, and politics.

If English is not your first language, you’ll need to meet the University's minimum English language requirements.

You’ll also need access to a suitable laptop. Some modules may use virtual machines, so the University recommends a Windows or Mac laptop with at least 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

2027 entry

• UK fee: £33,200
• EU/International fee: £41,500

Your tuition fee is payable at the start of the year or in installments. To secure your place, you’ll need to pay a £3,000 deposit within four weeks of receiving your offer. The deposit forms part of your total tuition fee and is not an additional cost.
