Our Accreditation

WBS sets high standards in both research and teaching. We have won acclaim and approval from all the leading national and international assessors and accreditation bodies. We are proud to be part of an elite group of global business schools who have triple accreditation from AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA.

Athena SWAN

Warwick Business School was the first UK business school to be triple accredited and receive the Athena SWAN Gold Award for improving gender equality.

Awarded by the Equality Challenge Unit (ECU), Athena SWAN supports and encourages work done to advance the careers of female academics and professional services staff, and also looks at issues relating to sexuality and gender equality more broadly.

AMBA accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement in postgraduate business education and is earned only by the best programmes. In a crowded and complex market, our accreditation demonstrates quality and ensures that students’ investments are rewarded with the finest business education available. The Association of MBAs has accredited the Warwick MBA since 1970.

AACSB members are only AACSB-accredited if they are able to satisfy a wide-ranging, rigorous set of quality standards. As such, Warwick Business School is able to demonstrate that we provide a relevant, challenging curriculum delivered by faculty of a high calibre, and excellent educational and career opportunities. The graduates we produce are therefore highly skilled and very desirable to employers. We were the first institution in the UK to be accredited by the US -based Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. We have been accredited by them since 1999.

EQUIS is the quality inspectorate for the European Foundation for Management Development. EQUIS accreditation is the most comprehensive institutional accreditation system for business and management schools. It is has a broad assessment scope and is acknowledged worldwide by potential students, faculty, employers, corporate clients and the media, often being a pre-requisite for entry to rankings. We have been accredited by them since 2000.
