This is a great event for anyone who is interested in finding out more about working within Finance, in particular accountancy.

Join Monique Malcolm-Hay, PwC Consultant and Chair of NewGen Accountants, to discuss her experience as a young, successful black woman in the world of Finance. She will be discussing the importance of race and diversity and her personal experiences relating to this topic.

This session will include:

The challenges Monique has faced as a black woman in the Finance sector
PwC race & diversity initiatives
The work NewGen Accountants do to provide individuals from underrepresented backgrounds with the knowledge needed to pursue a career in accountancy
Sector challenges and how to overcome these
Q&A session

As well as being an ICAEW Chartered Accountant working as a Consultant at PwC, Monique is also Co-Chair of PwC’s Multicultural Business Network and the Chair of New Gen Accountants. New Gen Accountants is a growing non-profit organisation with 3,000+ followers, which provides career development advice and mentorship to a diverse group of millennial and Gen Z professionals.
