Kathryn joined WBS in 2021 as a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Organisation and Human Resource Management group. Prior to this, she was a Fellow in the Department of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she received a "Top 10 Lecturer" award (2021).

Kathryn is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Kathryn also has practitioner experience as an HR Consultant and Executive Recruitment Consultant, working with a range of clients from global pharmaceuticals to music management companies.

Research Interests

Kathryn's main areas of research are institutional and organisational change processes, with a particular focus on the professions. She also takes interest in the use of new and different forms of qualitative data and analytical methods, including semiotics. Kathryn's doctoral thesis focused on a law firm's organisational responses to unprecedented institutional change within the UK legal field.
