Research Interests

I'm a financial economist researching topics in macro-finance, international finance, and technology. I'm originally from Seattle, Washington in the United States and currently live in the Warwick area in the United Kingdom.

In my applied theory work, I study dynamic, stochastic, general equilibrium model economies with heterogeneous agents. In my empirical work, I have recently been applying natural language processing and machine learning techniques to large-scale textual datasets.

I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Washington and currently teach and research at Warwick Business School at the University of Warwick, one of the UK's leading institutions for business and finance.
