WITS-WBS Gillmore Centre Fintech Workshop & Industry Conference

The Gillmore Centre for Financial Technology will hold a series of Feeder Workshops on Digital Currencies, The Frontiers of AI, and Fintech on 17-18th March at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick. 

These workshops will explore recent AI and Digital Currency developments and their implications for financial activity. They also aim to initiate conversations about new business applications, novel datasets, advanced technical developments and the social & economic impacts of Fintech and AI.  

The two-day at the Gillmore Fintech Lab at the Gillmore Centre for Financial Technology will also connect practitioners, regulators, and scholars to generate impactful directions for research. 

Participants are welcome to attend in person or engage online across one or both days.

  • 13.45- 15.15 – Session 2 – The impact of AI/ML and Automated Technologies on Fraud, AML and KYC 
  • 15.15- 15.30 – Coffee break and a chance to see the VR and other features at the Gillmore Fintech Lab.
