The Warwick Business School Weekend MBA in London is a transformative two-year programme that equips you with advanced management and leadership expertise without interrupting your career. Delivered through a blended learning model, it offers you exceptional flexibility and an immersive learning experience.

The programme begins with nine intensive required modules over the first year, establishing a robust foundation in core business functions, from organisational behaviour and finance to marketing and strategic thinking. This core learning integrates social and environmental sustainability throughout. As you progress, you will personalise your degree by choosing five elective modules, significantly expanding your network by studying alongside other MBA participants.

Weekend MBA entry requirements

The Weekend MBA is designed for high-potential early to mid-career professionals ready to accelerate their impact and transition into leadership roles. We look for candidates who are intellectually outstanding, driven, and ready to contribute to a collaborative learning environment.

To apply, you must have a minimum of three years of professional work experience and demonstrate clear career progression. While a strong undergraduate degree is typical, we welcome applications from exceptional candidates with proven ability who may not meet the standard academic requirements.

You’ll join us at The Shard for three to four days per core module, and at The Shard, Warwick campus, or online for electives, plus an overseas module. These sessions let you connect with peers, engage in case studies, hear from guest speakers, and participate in lively discussions with faculty. You’ll also enjoy extensive networking opportunities beyond your cohort, joining Executive MBA and Global Online MBA participants during electives and at events throughout the programme.
• Leadership Accelerator – The Leadership Accelerator module offers a special blend of in-depth experiential learning, along with the latest leadership research, personal reflection, group activities and real-world workplace applications to prompt you to reflect on your own leadership styles and practice.
• Leading academics and Professors of Practice - You will be inspired by and learn from some of the world’s leading academics alongside senior business people who join us as Professors of Practice. As a Weekend MBA participant, you'll benefit from their many years of board-level management experience, their global network of business connections, and direct experience in developing successful careers.
• Engage with the business world - We believe in giving our MBA participants practical experiences in which they can apply their learning. So, you’ll have the chance to complete your MBA by working on a client-based consulting project, enabling you to develop your practical consultancy, stakeholder management and influencing skills through direct experience.

What are my funding options?

Students on our Weekend MBA in London typically finance their studies through a variety of methods, including self-funding, employer sponsorship, and scholarships. Please note that the Weekend MBA is not eligible for the Postgraduate loan through Student Finance, though other educational loans may be available. WBS also offers a number of MBA scholarships, designed to support talented candidates from different backgrounds.
