Delivered jointly by Warwick Business School and the History of Art department, this course offers you the opportunity to build a strong foundation in business theory and practice, while developing a deep understanding of global modern art, design, and the role of culture within organisations, markets and society. Mastering this unique combination of skills will give you the versatility to stand out in today’s competitive job market.

Throughout the course, you'll combine rigorous business learning with perspectives from the history, politics and ethics of art and culture, helping you explore how organisations and decision-makers respond to changing cultural, technological and economic landscapes. From brand management and entrepreneurship to cultural organisations, you'll develop the versatility to approach complex challenges from both a commercial perspective and a Humanities education.

You'll benefit from exclusive career-focused teaching and events at our location at The Shard, London, as well as the opportunity to study at the Warwick Venice Centre, Italy, during the Biennale - the most prestigious and longest-running international exhibition – spending several days exploring both the historic city and cutting-edge art from around the world. These distinctive experiences will immerse you in new, vibrant cultural and commercial settings, offering fresh perspectives, valuable connections and enhanced industry insight.

We know every career journey is different, which is why our MSc offers a flexible and personalised experience. Alongside your core learning, you’ll have the opportunity to shape your studies around your interests and career ambitions, and choose a capstone route that enables you to pursue further academic research, understand business functions via simulations and training, or develop your employability through a supported internship experience.

Whether you’re looking to build a career in business, explore opportunities across the art and creative sectors, or work at the intersection of the two, MSc Business with Art will help you develop the analytical, commercial and cultural understanding needed to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world.
