Innovation that Saves Energy and Promotes Sustainability

Free Event • Registration Required

Join the Warwick Technology and Global Energy Professional Networks at our joint event on Friday 15th January 2016 at Western Europe's Tallest Building the Shard

Are IT companies heroes or villains when it comes to sustainability?

The IT sector can drive energy efficiency in other sectors such as construction and offer routes to lower environmental impacts – making it a sustainability hero. However the recent Volkswagen emissions scandal has shown the world how technology can be used to harm the environment and mislead consumers and governments. This event will discuss the present and the future of technology as a driver of energy conservation - what are the major opportunities and challenges - from the perspectives of a management consultancy, 2 energy startups and a business school academic.
