Group Dynamics: which groups are effective in decision making?

Free Event • Registration Required

The success of a business is not always determined by business essentials such as innovation, marketing and finance. Softer skills around how a team functions, how it makes decisions and how it disagrees are just as important, if not one of the keys to success. Identifying the faultlines early on can be crucial to success. In this webinar John Lyon will explore which groups are the most effective at decision making and why reaching a consensus can make or break a business.

Initially trained as a Clinical Biochemist, then as a Chartered Accountant (PriceWaterhouseCoopers). John is a Fellow of the ICAEW, a Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute, a Fellow of the Institute of Clinical Research, a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, a Chartered Scientist and Chartered Director. He was awarded the northern entrepreneur of the year award for science and technology in 2005 sponsored by Ernst and Young. John has held non-executive and chairman appointments spanning over 25 years as both a venture capitalist and a personal investor. John’s main research interests include board dynamics and he is passionate about widening female participation on Boards.
