The Power of Human Creativity

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into our daily work, one important question remains: what does this mean for human creativity?

While AI can act as a powerful collaborator, helping us generate ideas faster and test possibilities more efficiently, there is also a risk. Over-reliance on technology may weaken the very creative capabilities that make human contribution distinctive and valuable.

In this live SmartStage session, Dr Tamara Friedrich explores the psychology of creativity in the age of AI. Drawing on research from organisational behaviour and work psychology, she will examine how Human–AI collaboration can be designed to enhance, rather than diminish, creative thinking.

The session will explore:

• What makes creativity uniquely human
• The opportunities and risks of Human–AI creative collaboration
• How reliance on AI can subtly impact our creative confidence and capability
• Evidence-based strategies to strengthen individual and team creativity

This session is designed for professionals, managers and leaders who are navigating AI integration in their organisations and want to ensure that technology supports, rather than replaces, human ingenuity.

There will be time for live Q&A, offering participants the opportunity to explore practical applications within their own organisational context.
