Kate Friend, Director of CareersPlus and Employer Relations, believes the new initiative has helped foster connections between students and employers.

“After the success of this year’s fair, we have plans to host similar events, building stronger connections between our talented MBA students and leading employers,” she said.

“Warwick Business School is for the Change Makers, for those curious and ambitious enough to not only transform their lives but have a positive impact on the world.

“We are committed to helping our students thrive in their careers and achieve excellence. The careers fair was an excellent opportunity for MBA students and graduates to explore their options and discuss career routes with some of the world’s top companies.

“Our CareersPlus team was also on hand to provide career consultations, CV checks and help with interview techniques. We guide MBA students through every step of the application process, from crafting a standout CV to acing assessment centres and interviews.

“We cultivate meaningful relationships with top companies in sectors like consulting, finance, fintech, media, entertainment and food & drink to help our students succeed.

“Our students gain access to exciting opportunities through alumni panels, company visits, and bespoke presentations. Whether you’re pursuing an MBA internship, summer consulting project, or full-time role, we’re here to support your journey. From the UK to China, India to Singapore, and the UAE to Europe, we connect employers with our diverse talent pool.”

Students praised the event’s organisation and the valuable knowledge they gained, with one saying: “Meeting the representatives and gaining unique insights about different verticals, which is generally not available on careers websites, was the most valuable insight I gained.”

Employers were also impressed, with a Tata Consulting Services representative adding: “We saw good quality students, who were excellently prepared. They all had experience in well-known companies in tech or functional roles. It was a really great initiative.”
