On the rise: Warwick Business School is now ranked third in the UK for Executive Education open programmes
Warwick Business School has climbed 11 places in the Financial Times 2025 Executive Education Open Ranking to secure joint 19th position globally.
The School is among the UK’s top three Executive Education providers for open courses, with the Financial Times also rating WBS in the world’s top 15 for the quality and diversity of international participants and in the top 20 for ‘aims achieved’.
WBS has also been ranked the fifth fastest growing business school in the Financial Times’ ranking of custom programmes, where courses are tailored to the needs of an organisation.
Andy Lockett, Dean and Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, said: “Our rise into the global top 20 is a testament to the hard work and innovation of our faculty and staff.
“We’ve made significant investments in our Executive Education offering and this ranking reflects the impact of those efforts.
“It is especially pleasing to see that WBS is so highly ranked for aims achieved, meaning our courses are delivering exactly what professionals need in their workplace.
“With our base at The Shard in London, we’re ideally positioned to attract senior leaders from across the globe. Our programmes are designed not just to educate, but to empower participants to become true Change Makers in their organisations and communities.”
The Financial Times rankings evaluate schools based on participant satisfaction, course design, faculty quality, and international reach, among other criteria.
The School’s open courses for individual professionals range from Behavioural Science in Practice and Finance for Non-Finance Leaders to Leadership for a Complex World and Mergers and Acquisitions: How to Maximise Success.
Camilla Jonsson, Director of Executive Education at WBS, said: “We are thrilled with the results of this year’s ranking, particularly the strong endorsement from our participants. Their feedback is central to how we design and deliver our programmes.
“We work closely with industry partners to ensure our courses address real-world challenges and deliver measurable impact. This recognition confirms that we are on the right path, and we remain committed to providing transformational learning experiences that drive high performance.
“Our custom programmes are rapidly evolving, and it is encouraging to see our fast growth in this area demonstrated in the ranking.
“The School’s rise in the open rankings also reflects our growing international footprint and the success of our partnerships with organisations across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
“As the demand for high-quality, flexible executive learning continues to grow, we are primed to lead the way both in the UK and on the global stage.”
