Global Online MBA (2025-2027)

I am a passionate outdoorsman who has been fortunate to build a career doing what I love, on that path working as a producer, filmmaker, and more recently head of creative, but upon starting my recent role I realised I was missing the foundational knowledge and experience to keep my career growing. I was missing the strategic tools, the financial understandings, and the soft business skills that would be crucial if I want to progress. Enter an MBA.

I chose the Global Online MBA (London) at Warwick Business School (WBS) for several reasons; I need to work full time, so an online course was imperative, and the courses reputation is exceptional justifying the investment. As a born-Londoner, to come back to my home city and study in this iconic building was incredibly exciting. The facilities, set up and approach all created not just a valuable learning experience but amazing memories.

With a full-time job and a newborn son, time is in short supply. As an online degree, I can structure how I study to fit around my life and my needs.

I can honestly say that every module, lesson, article, and assignment has added value to me as a leader. The impact on my daily work was almost immediate and my only regret is I did not start earlier. That being said, I also feel that it is now, with the experience that I have gathered to this date, when I can maximise the benefits of the teaching.

We have an incredibly active and communicative cohort who are amazingly supportive of each other. If you have a question, a fear, or just need a someone to lean on, there are willing and caring friends to be there.

The more I learn, the more I see opportunities ahead of me. I am very happy in my current role, applying what I am learning on the MBA, but I would be lying if I didn’t say how excited I am about what can be next and what doors are opening to me.
