How would you describe your time at WBS in 3 words?

My time at WBS wasn’t just a chapter for me – it was transformative, unforgettable and filled with vibrant energy, and some days it feels like those memories still play in my mind as if they just happened yesterday. It has genuinely shaped who I am today – it pushed me out of my comfort zone, uplifted my confidence and taught me things I didn’t even know I needed. All of it left a mark on me in the best way possible which I’m honestly so grateful for.

Transformative

Yes, sitting through lectures and crunching numbers was super intense but the actual experience and growth happened outside the walls of the lecture theatres. WBS for me was more than just a place to study – filled with so many memories – from the social events and balls to the late-night group projects in the Undergraduate Study Space and even chilling with friends watching movies in the lecture theatres at night!

Juggling between group works, volunteering for Warwick in Africa and being part of the Consulting Society committee, my schedules was totally jam-packed – it got chaotic, stressful and honestly got exhausting at times. I vividly remember pulling an all-nighter to finish the accounting assignment with my group, fuelled by coffee and the late-night panic only to turn up the next day for a consulting society event. Managing situations like these taught me how to handle pressure, manage time and more importantly, believing in myself when things felt impossible.

Such experiences threw me in at the deep end but I learnt so much about myself and what I’m capable of. It pushed me to become more confident and resilient and that’s what made my experience at WBS truly transformative.

Unforgettable

It wasn’t just the big WBS events or society nights that made my experience unforgettable - it was the people who made WBS feel so special. The lifelong friendships made, the random coffee runs between lectures and just hanging out with friends on campus turned into memories I will always cherish for the rest of my life. The late-night group projects, laughing over the simplest of things and just cheering each other after a tough assignment – these everyday moments made my experience truly unforgettable.

Another highlight was being part of Warwick in Africa; it wasn’t just about the trips and teamwork but the unique opportunities WBS gives you to challenge yourself by working in projects in a completely different environment and collaborating with people on the other side of the world – gave me experiences and friendships I’ll always remember for the rest of my life. The exams and deadlines pushed me to my limits but the people I met along this journey and the moments we shared made every challenge worthwhile and making my university experience totally unforgettable.

Vibrant

If I had to describe the energy at WBS in a nutshell, “vibrant” is the only word that fits in perfectly. There was always something happening – career workshops, society events, talks, you name it. Just walking through WBS on a random afternoon felt like stepping into a buzz of energy – planning events, preparing presentations, people chatting or even just chilling over a coffee. Some of the most fun memories came from spontaneous moments – last-minute plans, late-night hangouts and grabbing food in the café because no one wanted to cook.

The business school was constantly buzzing and being involved in several things, from the Consulting Society to WBS Ambassadors meant I was always running from one thing to another – but in such a good way. The mix of cultures and personalities made WBS feel so alive. WBS had a chaotic and exciting vibe which made every day so unique, filled with the people, the chaos and the laughs which made the journey come alive.

Looking back at my time in WBS, it was a mixture of chaos, growth, independence and people that made my journey very exciting. All these experiences played a big role in shaping into the person I am and I wouldn’t trade it for anything ever.
