Biography

I am a PhD student at Warwick Business School, jointly working with the Behavioural Sciences, Accounting and Finance research Groups. Before starting my PhD, I worked for a senior management role in the Corporate Banking sector for four years. I am a CFA level-II candidate at the CFA Institute and have been awarded with several prestigious risk management, banking and auditing certifications from Moody's Analytics, AAOIFI and SBP. I did my postgraduate degree with distinction in Quantitative Finance (Statistics with Finance) from the University of Kent in 2018 and undergraduate degree in Economics (& Econometrics) from LUMS in 2015. Research Interests

My research lies at the intersection of the fields of behavioural science, finance, accounting and economics and involves the application of concepts from behavioural science, moral psychology and philosophy to understand and explore the behaviour of individual and institutional members of financial markets - in particular, investors, security market analysts and customers for banks and digital financial services. During my PhD, I also worked as a Research Associate with faculty at the Alliance Manchester Business School to conduct systematic literature on signaling theory in the context of marketing and consumer behavior.

I am also a big enthusiast for interdisciplinary research - particularly interested in the area of mental health and emotional wellbeing and have been working as a Co-PI with the Warwick Medical School on a field based project to investigate the effects of peer networks on pupils wellbeing interventions, funded by the Health Spotlight Small Grant Scheme Award for PhD/ECRs 2024-2025.
