Biography

Ketan Goswami is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Warwick Business School. He received his PhD in Entrepreneurship from Ivey Business School (London, Ontario, Canada). He also has a Masters in Labor and Human Resources from the Ohio State University (Columbus, Ohio, USA) and a Bachelors in Production Engineering from V.J.T.I., Mumbai University (Mumbai, Maharashtra, India).

His professional/ corporate experience spans 10+ years in diverse industries ranging from FMCG to Banking to Information Technology.

Ketan's research uses a social psychology lens and explores the interactions between the person (entrepreneur) and their environment (context).

He is keenly interested in exploring how micro-level entrepreneurial actions (creativity, resourcefulness, etc.) interact with diverse macro-level environmental contexts (resource scarcity, ambiguity, institutional inequality, etc). Additionally, he is also interested in exploring the micro-foundations of entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Further, his research emphasizes the "doing"/ practice side of entrepreneurship!

At a personal level, Ketan values diversity and inclusion, and firmly believes that inclusive cultures/ ecosystems foster individual creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation!
