Simon Barnes is a Professor of Practice in the field of venture capital finance. He had a 25 year career in and around venture capital and was a founder and Managing Partner at Circadia Ventures LLP which managed a VC funds in the fields of food sciences, nutrition, biotechnology and healthcare. He was previously a lecturer and director of the Entrepreneurship Centre at Imperial College's Business School. He has a MA in Natural Sciences and a PhD in plant biochemistry & molecular biology from the University of Cambridge.
