Biography

Velvetina is a social networks and creativity scholar. She uses a social networks perspective to understand the creative idea evaluation process. 

Velvetina approaches her research with two questions:

• How do individuals identify creative ideas at work?
• How do employees react to evaluations of creative ideas?

She enjoys using a variety of research methods (e.g. experiments, archival data, field surveys, qualitative observations) to address her research questions in interesting organizational contexts.
