Warren is Editor of Core magazine and Warwick Business School's Core Insights thought leadership content. He also hosts Core Presents, a series of live interviews broadcast from the School's state-of-the-art Smart Stage teaching space.

Warren and the Core magazine team won Best Publication at the CIPR Excellence Awards 2025. He has been shortlisted for several awards by the British Society of Magazine Editors.

Before joining Warwick Business School, Warren was a successful national and regional newspaper journalist. He won a prestigious Press Award as part of the team that delivered the Daily Mirror's Law for Life campaign to introduce an opt-out organ donor register in England. He was also a four-time finalist at the British Journalism Awards and won awards from the Medical Journalists Association and the Association of British Science Writers.
