Biography

Dr Zhun Liu is a Senior Teaching Fellow at Warwick Business School. He specialises in venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, corporate finance, investments and IPO. Before joining WBS, he was a Lecturer at the University of Central Florida from 2018 to 2021 and a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Miami in the United States from 2016 to 2018.

He served as Assistant President of a financial company investing mostly in Asia and was the fund manager of a venture capital fund, a private equity fund and a hedge fund from 2008 to 2011. He has vast experience in teaching investments and corporate finance on both undergraduate and graduate levels. He is a member of the UK's Higher Education Academy and associated with the American Finance Association, Financial Management Association and Western Economic Association International.
