10 February 2025

Starting university at Warwick Business School is an exciting chapter filled with opportunities to explore and settle into campus life. Undergraduate student, Joanna, shares her tips on how to make the most of this exciting time.

Engage

Although it might be a busy time balancing your new course and social life, attending your lectures from the start is essential. Staying on track with your new course means you can keep up with the content and avoid falling behind, as well as providing a fantastic way to meet course mates.

Additionally, it’s important to set up a meeting with your personal tutor. Your tutor is your mentor throughout your time at university and establishing a strong relationship with them early on will set you up for success. They will help you navigate your new life at WBS, answer any questions, and guide you throughout your academic journey, whether that’s showing you how to use the my.WBS website, or helping to choose the right modules for you.
