How employee wellbeing can support a productive work environment 

Are you looking to develop a cooperative, creative and collaborative culture in your organisation? Effective collaboration and positive organisational culture can have a huge impact on well-being, innovation and incentivising team members. 

In this Postgraduate Award, you will gain the tools and skills to design jobs and workplaces that promote well-being and productivity. You will be introduced to a range of perspectives on behavioural science that can be used to improve the effectiveness of organisations and how individuals work within organisations. Examining the importance of wellbeing for collaboration and productivity, and the role that companies or organisations have in fostering wellbeing within their workforce. You will also learn ways to encourage creativity and innovation within your workforce, and how to actively incentivise collaboration.

Duration

This Postgraduate Award will run across four days of face-to-face teaching at our London base in The Shard, with a six week window to complete your assignments.

Structure 

  • Day one: Led by Redzo Mujcic. You will explore the behavioural science of wellbeing within modern organisations and societies. You'll develop an understanding of how you can measure success with human wellbeing, and create more productive and successful work places
  • Day two: Led by Redzo Mujcic. You will discover how to improve employee wellbeing as well as design consumer products and services
  • Day three: Dive into the world of creativity. You will explore what it means to be creative and develop techniques such as reframing problems, generating ideas, and evaluating and revising potential solutions
  • Day four: You will consider the hidden rules of appropriate behaviour that arise in your own lives and organisations, and how they can impact your responses and behaviour. You will develop skills to improve your own communciation as an individual, as well as skills to foster collaboration and communication in your teams

To consolidate your learning, you will complete a reflective essay and a case study. The assignments will provide you with an opportunity to apply your learning to real-life situations, allowing you to take back tangible knowledge that could support your organisation.
