Career boost: MSc Marketing & Strategy graduates at WBS go on to earn around $60,000 on average

The University of Warwick has strengthened its position as a world leader in Marketing after climbing six places to be ranked 25th in the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject.

The University also rose five places in Accounting & Finance to be ranked 39th in the world for the subject, while it was 35th for Business & Management.

Higher education analysts QS assessed the world’s universities in more than 50 subjects by using datapoints from 16.4 million academic papers as well as amassing the views of more than 151,000 academics and 100,000 employers.

It follows Warwick Business School rising four places to be ranked first in the UK and sixth in the world for its MSc Marketing & Strategy in the separate QS Business Master’s Rankings, which focuses on courses and uses a different methodology.

John Rudd, Head of the Marketing Group and Professor of Marketing at WBS, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to see Marketing at WBS ranked among the world's best. While we are very proud of our long history of academic excellence, what really makes us special is our community and the strong and productive networks we have built.

“Our world-class research is published in leading academic journals and we make sure those insights are at the heart of every programme and module we teach.

“We truly value, and benefit from, the ways in which our faculty, students, and organisational partners work together to turn bold ideas into real-world impact. As the School for Change Makers we’re here to empower bold thinkers, drive innovation and help people turn ambition into action.”
