Ukrainian flag

We are deeply shocked and saddened by the terrible events occurring in Ukraine. Our thoughts are with all those who are affected by the actions of the Russian Government - in Ukraine, in Russia, and in surrounding countries.

As a School we fully support the statement made by the University's Vice Chancellor in standing with Ukraine, and with our fellow academic institutions across Europe we reiterate that we stand for "democracy, for human rights, and for the right to critical enquiry and the pursuit of knowledge".

We will be working with the University, with local and international partners, and encouraging our WBS community to do all they can to support those caught up in this conflict.

We also support our Russian students and alumni who are not responsible for the actions of the Russian Government, and many of whom are bravely speaking out. We encourage open dialogue and wish for everyone to be treated with respect.
